An Event Planner coordinates promotional sales events, professional meetings and family events. Works with clients, develops event plans and budgets, finds appropriate sites, contracts for services and supplies, coordinates with on-site staff, oversees finances and assists during an event.
Graff Lab Studio is looking for energetic, outgoing, and dependable Party & Event Staff to join our team as a Floater between our Syosset and Oceanside studios! This position is specifically for someone who is comfortable working at BOTH locations based on our weekly event schedule and staffing needs. You will not be assigned to just one studio. Graff Lab Studio is an interactive, graffiti-inspired art studio where kids, teens, and adults create their own graffiti fashion, art, and other projects. We host birthday parties, workshops, private events, school groups, camps, and more. If you love working with kids, have great energy, and want a job that's definitely not your typical shift behind a counter, this could be a great fit. What You'll Do As part of our Party & Event Staff, you'll help bring the full Graff Lab experience to life!
Responsibilities include:
Host and assist with kids' birthday parties and graffiti workshops Welcome guests and help get groups checked in and ready to paint Help teach guests the basics of spray painting, stenciling, and creating their projects Keep kids engaged and bring fun, positive energy to each event Set up party and painting spaces before events Prepare projects, stencils, paint, and other materials Assist with pizza, drinks, cake, and the celebration portion of birthday parties Keep events organized, on schedule, and running smoothly Clean and reset the studio between parties Help maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked studio Work alongside managers and other event staff to create an awesome experience for every group No graffiti or art experience is required! We'll teach you everything you need to know about our projects and how we run the Graff Lab experience. We're Looking for

Energetic, outgoing, and comfortable talking in front of groups Great with kids and families Dependable and punctual Comfortable working in a fast-paced party environment Able to take direction and work as part of a team Willing to jump in wherever needed Comfortable cleaning, setting up, and resetting party spaces Able to stay organized while multiple things are happening at once Available to work weekends Previous experience as a camp counselor, teacher or teaching assistant, coach, party host, babysitter, children's program staff member, or event staff is a big plus!

This Is a Floater Position This role is for someone who is willing and able to work at both our Syosset and Oceanside locations. Your schedule may change between locations depending on where parties, events, and staffing needs are that week. Reliable transportation to BOTH Syosset and Oceanside is required. We're specifically looking for someone who likes the flexibility and variety of working with different teams and events rather than being assigned to only one studio. Why Join the Graff Lab Crew?
