This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership, and has a passion for creating exceptional events - from weddings to curated in-house experiences. You will oversee event execution, bar operations, inventory, and staff management while also contributing to venue growth through tours and the development of signature events. Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Execution, Client Management & Venue Operations Oversee all event-day execution to ensure seamless, high-quality experiences Prepare venue for events, ensuring layouts, timelines, and details are executed flawlessly Take over client management at the one-month-out mark , serving as the primary point of contact from that point through event day Lead final meetings and walkthroughs with clients to confirm all event details Coordinate directly with vendors in the final weeks leading up to each event Act as the main point of contact on event days for clients, vendors, and staff Ensure client vision is executed with care, precision, and attention to detail Lead setup, transitions, and breakdown processes Ensure events are "door open ready" (30 min prior; 1 hour for weddings) Bar & Beverage Program Management Manage full bar operations, including setup and service standards Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control Maintain relationships with vendors and distributors Create and refine bar offerings for events and in-house experiences Ensure compliance with all safety and liquor regulations Staff Leadership Manage and schedule bartenders and event staff Train team members on service standards and expectations Lead by example in professionalism, urgency, and hospitality Hold team accountable to performance and presentation standards Additional Responsibilities Assist in planning and executing ticketed and community-driven events (wine dinners, markets, music series, holiday experiences, etc.) Collaborate on creative concepts that drive community engagement and repeat attendance Support event logistics, vendor coordination, and guest experience for all in-house programming Conduct venue tours for prospective clients as needed Represent the brand with professionalism and enthusiasm Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in hospitality and/or event management Background in bartending and strong knowledge of bar operations Proven experience managing or supporting live events Strong leadership and team management skills Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to remain calm and solutions-focused under pressure Availability to work evenings and weekends (event-based schedule) What We're Looking For Someone who takes ownership and doesn't wait to be told what to do A detail-oriented executor who notices what others miss A natural leader who can manage both people and processes Someone who genuinely cares about creating meaningful guest experiences Why 1840 Manor House?
