Biweekly About One World Staffing One World Staffing provides event staffing and event technology support across the U.S. and Canada. We support Candlelight concerts, corporate events, conferences, trade shows, festivals, exhibitions, event setup/breakdown, logistics, and event technology projects. We are currently looking for a reliable Event Lead / U-Haul Driver to support three Candlelight events at The Yale Theater in Oklahoma City on October 23, 24, and 25. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys live events, can take ownership onsite, and is interested in ongoing event work with One World Staffing. About Candlelight Candlelight concerts are unique live music experiences where musicians perform in beautiful venues surrounded by candlelight. Our onsite teams help prepare the venue, manage guest arrival and check-in, support the musicians and venue, coordinate staff, maintain guest flow, and assist with breakdown after the performance. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate the onsite event staff Assign staff to different areas and responsibilities Make sure the team is prepared before guests arrive Assist with venue setup, candles, signage, check-in, and guest-flow areas Communicate with the venue, client, and One World Staffing Coordinate staff breaks and coverage Handle onsite questions and resolve issues as they come up Assist with loading and unloading event materials Drive a U-Haul or company vehicle when required Transport event equipment and materials safely Assist with event breakdown and packing Make sure equipment and materials are properly returned after the event Maintain a professional and positive presence throughout the event Requirements Previous event, hospitality, production, or leadership experience preferred Experience leading or coordinating teams Strong communication and organizational skills Reliable, punctual, and responsible Comfortable taking ownership of an event onsite Professional and friendly with guests, staff, and clients Valid standard driver's license required Must be comfortable driving a U-Haul or company vehicle CDL is not required for standard vehicles that can legally be operated with a regular driver's license Comfortable loading and unloading event materials Must be available for the required events/shifts on October 23, 24 and 25 Pay & Contractor Information $25/hour This is an independent contractor (1099) position , with payments made biweekly . Future Work This can lead to additional opportunities with One World Staffing.
