1099 Freelance Contractor About the Event Candlelight concerts by Fever are unique live music experiences featuring talented local musicians performing in atmospheric venues illuminated by candlelight. Two performances are scheduled during the assignment:
Candlelight:
90s Hip-Hop on Strings - 6:30
PM Candlelight:
Tribute to Michael Jackson - 8:45 PM Responsibilities As Event Staff, you will help create a welcoming and organized experience for guests from arrival through the end of the event.
Duties may include:
Assist with event setup before guests arrive Set up candles, signage, seating areas, and check-in stations Welcome guests and assist with ticket check-in Scan and validate guest tickets using the event QR-code system Direct and seat guests throughout the venue Manage guest flow and queues Answer guest questions and provide directions Direct guests to restrooms and other venue areas Explain digital programs and event information when needed Monitor the performance area and help maintain a respectful environment Support event policies regarding late entry, phones, talking, photography, and video Support the Event Lead and venue team throughout the event Assist with resetting the venue between performances Help maintain a clean and organized event space Assist with closing, cleanup, and basic breakdown after the final performance Requirements Previous event, hospitality, customer service, or live-event experience is an asset Friendly, professional, and confident interacting with guests Reliable and punctual Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable working in a busy live-event environment Able to remain on your feet and active for extended periods Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team Professional appearance and positive attitude Must be available for the full 3:00 PM-10:30 PM shift Dress Code All black: Black pants or clean black jeans Black shirt/top Clean black closed-toe shoes Clean, neat, and professional overall appearance Payment This is a 1099 freelance contractor assignment .
