Activity and Event Coordinator Do you love planning events, connecting with people, and creating joyful experiences? We are seeking a positive and energetic Activities and Events Coordinator to help bring our vibrant life enrichment program to life. Every day is an opportunity to inspire laughter, creativity, and connection with our amazing residents! Key Responsibilities Resident Engagement & Program Development Plan, organize, and deliver monthly resident activities, events, and social programs tailored to individual needs and preferences that support our Montessori-based "Thrive" activities. Maintain Resident Bio profiles, life histories, and participation records to support personalized engagement. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to integrate resident preferences into care plans and activity offerings. Track daily attendance and participation in EHR and adjust programs based on resident interests and wellness needs. Create and distribute a monthly activity calendar and resident newsletter. Support residents in attending activities, including safely assisting with mobility when needed. Event Planning & Community Engagement Organize and coordinate community-wide special events, including themed parties, seasonal celebrations, family nights, and holiday programs. Plan and lead employee engagement activities, including team-building events, appreciation days, and recognition programs. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in recreation therapy, gerontology, or related fields preferred. Minimum 1-2 years of experience planning, coordinating, or leading group activities, preferably in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality. Knowledge of state regulations impacting resident engagement and activities. Ability to plan, organize, and execute events for diverse audiences. Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in social media posting and newsletter creation. Maintain current driver's license. Experience managing budgets and vendors.
