Job Description

Description:
Role Overview Event Staff members are responsible for ensuring that Caldera experiences run smoothly and provide an exceptional experience for guests. This role supports event execution, facilities hospitality, venue cleanliness, and guest services. Key Responsibilities 1.
Event Set-up & Breakdown Venue Preparation:
Support the preparation and execution of Caldera events, including setting up and breaking down venues, tents, chairs, tables, stages, and light/sound equipment.
Special Projects:
Participate in team projects such as setting up, breaking down, and outfitting tipis and tents. 2.
Facilities & Venue Support Space Maintenance:
Reset and maintain key programming spaces (including cabins, Tamarack Hall, the Hearth, and Studios) before, during, and after events.
Cleanliness & Organization:
Ensure all venues are clean, organized, and properly stocked with supplies. Maintain safety precautions, empty and clean refrigerators, and put away dishes.
Utility Support:
Restock firewood and empty compost buckets. 3.
Guest Hospitality & Services Customer Service:
Provide high levels of friendly, approachable, and confident customer service to all guests.
Guest Arrivals:
Welcome guests to the venue and guide them to their accommodations.
Accommodation Preparation:
Prepare spaces for guest arrivals by collecting and putting away laundry, making beds, managing trash and recycling, and cleaning/sanitizing as needed. 4.
Food, Beverage & Logistics Food Support:
Assist with food and drink setup.
Inventory Management:
Partner with the Guest Experience Manager (GEM) to track and update the inventory of kitchen supplies, linens, and tent outfitting.
Requirements:
Key Qualifications & Requirements Exceptional communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities, with high attention to detail. Adaptability, collaboration, and cultural sensitivity.
Driver's License:
A valid driver's license is highly preferred/required to safely operate Caldera vehicles on-property.
