In this role, you will oversee all facets of event planning and execution, ensuring seamless operations from initial concept to final wrap-up. Your meticulous attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional events that leave lasting impressions on clients and guests alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your organizational prowess, leadership skills, and creativity in a vibrant hospitality-focused environment. This is a part time position only handling events. Responsibilities Collaborate with sponsors and the Executive Director to understand event goals and requirements, translating ideas into actionable plans. Coordinate all logistical aspects of events. Lead project timelines by developing schedules, assigning tasks to team members, and ensuring deadlines are consistently met. Oversee onsite event operations to ensure smooth execution, addressing any issues promptly while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Drive event marketing initiatives by promoting upcoming events through various channels and upselling additional services or packages to maximize revenue opportunities. Requirements Proven experience in event planning or management. Must have a college degree and live in Erie County PA. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable vendor agreements and upsell services effectively. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills for client interactions, team coordination, and vendor negotiations. Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing teams during event setup and execution. Ability to handle budgeting responsibilities accurately while maintaining high-quality standards. Must become a member of our non-profit.
