Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Event Coordinator to lead the planning, execution, and management of a diverse range of events. Duties Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, objectives, and specific requirements for each event Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, caterers, and suppliers to secure the best terms and value Manage event budgets meticulously, tracking expenses and optimizing costs through effective negotiation and upselling strategies Coordinate all logistical details such as venue setup, catering arrangements, audiovisual needs, guest services, and transportation Oversee event marketing efforts by promoting events through various channels and managing promotional materials Utilize event management software and CRM systems to streamline planning processes, track client interactions, and ensure timely communication Lead and supervise teams of staff or volunteers during events to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback, analyze success metrics, and identify areas for improvement Requirements Proven experience in event planning or management within the hospitality or events industry Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable deals while maintaining quality standards Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software and CRM systems Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines Exceptional communication skills for effective client interaction, team leadership, and vendor negotiations Experience in managing event budgets from initial planning through execution Knowledge of catering services, guest hospitality, fundraising activities, and event marketing strategies Ability to demonstrate technical proficiency in relevant tools and equipment used during events Strong customer service orientation with a focus on creating memorable experiences for clients and guests Hospitality industry experience is highly preferred; familiarity with managing large-scale or high-profile events is a plus Join our team as an Event Coordinator where your creativity meets meticulous planning! Pay:
$27.00 - $31.02 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
