Coordinate event logistics, including facility arrangements, work orders, catering, vendor coordination, staffing, setup, and other operational needs for major departmental events and initiatives, including Student-Athlete Awards Night, Athletics Golf Outing, Athletics Hall of Fame, Recruitment Days, Student-Athlete Orientation, National Girls and Women in Sports Day, DII Student-Athlete Day, and other departmental events and special initiatives.
Process and maintain departmental payment authorizations, purchasing documentation, and other financial records in accordance with University policies and procedures. Reconcile departmental expenses, including The Ramp Card, Home Depot, and other purchasing accounts, ensuring accurate and timely documentation. Maintain organized and accurate records of departmental financial transactions and assist with monitoring departmental and team-restricted budgets. Work collaboratively with the Director of Athletics and appropriate University offices to support effective budget management, purchasing, and financial operations.
Provide guidance and support throughout the hiring procedure for new members of the department such as processing departmental hiring paperwork, collaborating with the human resources department to ensure a smooth hiring process, offer guidance and support to new hires as needed. Also oversee training schedule for coaching certifications and professional development. Develop, manage, and maintain the comprehensive Athletics Department calendar, ensuring accurate coordination of competitions, practices, events, meetings, recruiting activities, professional development, and other departmental commitments.
SALARY INFORMATIONWhen determining the salary offer for a new employee, Molloy considers several key characteristics such as job knowledge, skills, and experience as well as internal and external equity. The hiring annual salary for this position is $66,300.00. This annual salary represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation at the time of posting.
