Job Description

Bandai Namco Amusement America, a leader in the arcade, amusement, and entertainment industry for over 40 years, is looking for a determined individual for a unique to join our team as an Events Assistant on-site in Itasca, IL.
Job Overview:
The Events Assistant is responsible for assisting and ensuring the successful pre-production, production, and operations of Bandai Namco related events relevant to the IP Retail division. Under the supervision of the Assistant Events Manager and/or the Events Manager, Events Assistants will provide support in all aspects of inventory, event operations, organization of merchandise/promotional assets, and providing excellent customer service in this customer-facing role. The position requires great attention to detail, logistics and administrative support to the events team, and sustained representation of the company and its brands when supporting at events. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist in the preplanning, administrative, and operations of activations, store openings and inventory management projects. Assist with any administrative task from Event Coordinators and Event Managers Maintain, replenish, and troubleshoot Gashapon (GBO) Machines Handle documentation and data entry of merchandise within the warehouse and during activations Support inventory and stock replenishment for multiple product lines Adhere to company policies and procedures Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials during set up and breakdown (up to 50lbs.) Ability to travel and work some evenings, weekends or irregular hours while attending tradeshows, conventions, pop ups and other events as required (30% travel). Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required. Experience in retail or warehouse environments is desirable Proficiency in Microsoft Office is desirable Strong customer service background Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and have critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to carry 50lbs. boxes Ability to travel domestically via car or plane; up to 30% of the year
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in Japanese 1 - 3 Years of experience in Customer-Facing Roles Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Ability to manage time effectively, especially in high-pressure situations leading up to and during events
