Position Number 48TT21 Position Type Temporary Essential Job Duties This role supports the PBS North Carolina Development team by planning, coordinating, and executing donor, sponsor, community, and fundraising events that strengthen relationships and advance philanthropic engagement.
Key Responsibilities include:
Manage event logistics from concept to completion, including: Venue coordination Invitations and registration Vendor and catering arrangements Run-of-show development
- Event materials and guest communications On-site support Collaborate closely with Development colleagues, the Marketing team, and partners across PBS North Carolina to ensure events are well organized, reflect the PBS North Carolina brand and mission.
Provide a welcoming and meaningful experience for donors, prospects, sponsors, and community partners. Minimum Experience/Education 4 years of experience in event planning or event coordination roles Department Required Skills Excellent organizational and project-management skills. Strong attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to coordinate events and multiple priorities. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication. Strong customer-service orientation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Ability to work collaboratively across teams. Flexibility to support occasional evening and weekend events.
