Volunteer Fundraising Event Coordinator (Hawaii) Girlie Foundation, Inc. Hawaii (Big Island Preferred) Volunteer Position About Girlie Foundation Girlie Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free, accessible, science-based menstrual and hormonal health education to girls and women. Through our educational app, community workshops, and school and workplace partnerships, we are working to close the education gap surrounding menstrual and hormonal health and empower the next generation with the knowledge they deserve. Position Overview Girlie Foundation is seeking a passionate and organized Volunteer Fundraising Event Coordinator to help plan and execute fundraising events that support our mission. This role is ideal for someone with experience in event planning, nonprofit fundraising, community engagement, or sponsorship development who wants to make a meaningful impact in women's health education. The Fundraising Event Coordinator will work closely with the Founder & Executive Director and the Fundraising & Development Team to create engaging fundraising opportunities, cultivate community partnerships, and help secure resources needed to grow our programs and impact. Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising events and campaigns Develop event concepts, timelines, budgets, and logistics Identify and secure event venues, vendors, sponsors, and community partners Coordinate volunteers and event committees Assist with sponsorship outreach and donor engagement efforts Collaborate with the marketing team to promote fundraising events Track event budgets, attendance, sponsorships, and fundraising results Help create memorable donor and community experiences Attend planning meetings and provide regular project updates Preferred Qualifications Experience in event planning, fundraising, nonprofit management, hospitality, marketing, or community outreach Strong organizational and project management skills Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities Experience working with sponsors, donors, or community organizations is a plus Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team environment Passion for women's health, education, youth development, or nonprofit work What You'll Gain Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in women's health education Leadership experience within a growing nonprofit organization Professional development in nonprofit fundraising and event management Networking opportunities with community leaders, sponsors, and nonprofit professionals Letter of recommendation and professional references based on performance Opportunity to help shape and grow a mission-driven organization from the ground up Time Commitment Approximately 5-10 hours per week Flexible schedule Preference for candidates located in Hawaii, though remote applicants with relevant experience will also be considered To Apply Please submit: Your resume A brief statement describing your interest in the role Any relevant experience with fundraising, event planning, sponsorships, or community outreach Join us in helping ensure every girl has access to the menstrual and hormonal health education she deserves.
