The PRN Special Events Specialist The PRN Event Specialist is responsible for supporting event planning efforts, sponsor information organization, and administrative support for the Foundation's events. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, customer service skills, comfort with technology, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts in event execution. Applicant must be comfortable communicating with event sponsors via email, text, and phone calls. Event Support Participate in coordination and implementation of fundraising events. On-site for Foundation Events to serve as support staff as assigned. Ability to direct and supervise volunteers at events as needed (supporting Volunteer Coordinator). Assist with other special projects as needed. Sponsor Contact Management Organize and maintain event contacts and distribution lists. Assist with collecting event sponsors information, such as names of attendees, dietary restrictions, logos, photos, and contact details. Assist with updating donor database with attendee contact details post-event. Update sponsor logos on event webpages. Send electronic tickets to sponsors and manage ticketing customer service requests for the Knoxville Challenger. Office Support Assist with preparing for event committee meetings (assembling packets, preparing meeting space). Assist with mailings. This position is a part-time, in-person, hourly position with occasional nights and weekends. Exact weekly schedule can be flexible as needed, outside of scheduled events. This position is based at 200 Tech Center Drive, Knoxville, TN and requires occasional travel to the Center's outlying counties.

Special Events Specialist Experience:
1-2 years in event management, project management, office administration, customer service, or similar role preferred.Education:
High School degree.Physical:
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.Location:
