Position:
The Special Events Parking Manager oversees the parking operation for events under the direction of the Director of Operations to ensure 24/7 professional event management. As a company devoted to promoting an employee-focused leadership culture, the Event Manager will support the programs and initiatives originating from our home office and help to support the individual needs of their operational teams throughout their assigned event (s).Principal Job Duties:

- Identifying high potential employees to support the organization's continued growth.
- Aiding the establishment of a positive safety-oriented workplace environment.

- Oversee the Event department.
- Align processes, resource-planning, and department-specific goals with overall business strategy.
- Monitor key performance indicators and make operational adjustments when necessary to ensure success.
- Understand and ensure compliance on all requirements within contractual agreements between LAZ Parking and clients.
- Identify targeted areas of improvement and implement effective, data driven solutions to improve the business.
- Assist in the develop short
- and long-term strategic plans based on event knowledge and data analysis to further the business' vision.
- Prepare, track, and manage events and initiatives throughout the year, including task management, weekly update meetings, and issue escalation.
- Manage staff, including scheduling, assignments, payroll processing, coaching, and staff development.
- Work with Event Venue to track events that impact parking.
- Implement and complete projects, programs, and initiatives based on event needs.
- Organize and manage the oversight of event operations.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Experience:
- 1+ years in a management role.
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point and General Microsoft Office Applications.
- Parking and Event management experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to be flexible in schedule in order to meet operational needs.

Physical Demands:
- Willingness to work in the elements
- heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
- Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
- Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
