Set on 250 acres of beautiful Tennessee farmland, Williamson Family Farm is a one-of-a-kind destination for weddings, corporate retreats, private celebrations, live entertainment, and community events throughout the Southeast. From elegant wedding weekends to large-scale corporate gatherings, our team brings hospitality, creativity, and heart to everything we do. We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Event Manager who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves bringing people together, and can confidently lead events from the first planning meeting through the final breakdown at the end of the night. This role is perfect for someone who is equal parts organized leader, hospitality professional, problem solver, and calm-under-pressure teammate. What This Role Really Looks Like Event life is not a typical 9-5 — and we believe in being transparent about that. During peak seasons, this role requires regular weekends, long event days, and a high level of visibility and energy on-site. You'll spend time walking the property, managing timelines, directing teams, solving problems in real time, supporting clients, and ensuring every event feels seamless from start to finish. This is a role for someone who rises to the occasion when it matters most and takes pride in creating unforgettable guest experiences. Responsibilities Client Experience & Event Planning Manage the full event lifecycle from client handoff through final event execution Build strong relationships with clients through thoughtful communication, professionalism, and hospitality Conduct planning meetings, venue walkthroughs, timeline reviews, and event check-ins Maintain accurate and detailed BEOs (Banquet Event Orders) in TripleSeat throughout the planning process Ensure clients feel supported, informed, and confident throughout their experience Event Execution & Operations Lead day-of event execution while maintaining a calm, solutions-oriented presence Coordinate event timelines, vendor arrivals, staffing flow, and guest experience Collaborate closely with food & beverage, operations, facilities, and leadership teams Troubleshoot issues quickly and professionally while maintaining a positive guest experience Participate in weekly production meetings and communicate event updates clearly across departments Team Leadership Recruit, train, schedule, and support part-time event staff Help cultivate a positive, accountable, team-oriented event culture Serve as a visible leader during events and provide support to both staff and clients throughout execution Vendor & Inventory Management Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to support smooth event execution Manage alcohol inventory and beverage logs in compliance with Tennessee ABC regulations Maintain organized event files, department resources, and supply inventory Identify opportunities for event enhancements and upselling that improve both the guest experience and event revenue Requirements 3+ years of event management, hospitality, catering, or venue experience Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage teams and high-pressure event environments Excellent communication and client relationship skills Experience managing vendors, timelines, staffing, and logistics simultaneously Ability to stay organized and detail-oriented while moving quickly in a live event environment Comfortable working extended hours on your feet during events (10-12+ hours at times) Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays based on event schedule Experience with budget management, client negotiations, and upselling preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management systems (TripleSeat experience a plus) Valid ABC Server/Manager License or ability to obtain before start date Passion for hospitality, live events, and creating memorable experiences for guests What We Value We're looking for someone who: Leads with hospitality and professionalism Communicates clearly and confidently Loves creating memorable experiences for others Can pivot quickly when challenges arise Brings positive energy to a team environment Takes ownership and pride in their work Understands that successful events require teamwork, hustle, flexibility, and heart Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience.
