Job Description

As a Non-profit Event Assistant, you arrive before our clients do. You help and make sure everything is ready before the doors open. Training teaches you how to prepare for events and what to expect once clients arrive. The Non-profit Event Assistant greets clients as they walk in, shares information about the charity, and helps them understand how to get involved. Role Responsibilities of the Non-profit Event Assistant Support sales outreach by engaging with clients in person to raise awareness of charity initiatives and upcoming charitable events. Help foster in-person relationships with clients to encourage participation in charitable activities and sales opportunities. Assist in spreading awareness about the organization's philanthropic efforts through friendly, approachable in-person sales conversations. Contribute to event setup and on-the-ground support to ensure smooth, welcoming experiences for attendees and donors. Support efforts to identify community needs and share how local charity programs aim to create positive change. Facilitate charitable activities in person that promote understanding of and participation in charitable causes. Qualities of the Non-profit Event Assistant Explains charitable initiatives clearly without pressure. Provides helpful, respectful support services. Manages event responsibilities while staying organized. Responds calmly to questions and changing situations. Takes initiative with outreach and follow-up responsibilities.
