The Floral Event Implementation Manager is responsible for the implementation of all aspects of Geny's Weddings and Events including prep, processing, set up and tear down. This position ensures the event is executed according to Geny's standards of excellence. The Event Implementation Manager often oversees other event staff during execution.

Responsibilities:

Consultations

• When available, sits in on consultations with clients and Event Director in order to insure a full understanding of client/event needs.
• Maintains an updated detailed project plan to ensure event accuracy and execution
• Focuses on client experience and relationships for future growth. Implementation
• Supports the planning, production, and execution of all Geny's events both internal and external.
• Works with Event Director to acquire all materials, including flowers, supplies, and staffing for event. Assists with processing of flowers as needed.
• Prepares for events including work space, pulling and preparation of flowers, containers, etc. Works closely with Operations Manager to ensure inventory is kept accurate and current.
• Coordinates with venue or event planner as needed in order to execute event.
• Maintains updated and detailed project plan for each event. Administration
• Keeps event software and project plans up to date, documenting changes as they occur.
• Works with Event Director and support staff to execute contracts.
• Stays on budget.
• Provides quick thinking and sound judgment when unexpected challenges arise.
• Oversees event staff for execution. Execution
• Be onsite for setup and execution of events. In case of multiple concurrent events, work with Event Director as to who will be at each event.
• Ensure Execution, setup and cleanup from events is handled according to Geny's standards.
• Ensure there are photos of Geny's designs, etc. at set up.
• Follow up with photographers post event to request event photos. Staffing
• Coordinates and oversees designers and day of event staffing.
• Maintains active list of on call event staff and assigns work as needed.
• Obtains approval before scheduling Geny's Flower's employees for events.

Qualifications Event experience in the planning, production, and execution of events. Ability to administrate staff and execute event, work quickly and efficiently. Strong interpersonal skills to work with customers and to manage staff upon execution. Strong organizational skills and detail oriented to manage multiple projects with a great amount of detailed information. Basic Floral design experience or the ability to gain competence. Must be able to maintain a positive attitude while working under changing and often stressful situations. Able to lift and carry event supplies. Climb stairs. Walk often on uneven surfaces. Must be available nights and weekends and able to work a varying schedule based on business needs.
