We're looking for a leader who understands that great hospitality is more than running a shift. Our AGM helps oversee restaurant and bar operations, bowling and attractions, birthday parties, corporate events, catering, staffing, training, and the overall guest experience. This position works closely with the General Manager and leadership team to keep operations running smoothly while developing employees, controlling costs, and creating memorable experiences for our guests. What You'll Do Assist the General Manager with daily venue operations. Serve as Manager on Duty for assigned shifts. Lead FOH, bar, kitchen, bowling, attractions, and event operations. Hire, train, coach, and develop team members. Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily priorities. Assist with scheduling and labor management. Monitor inventory, food cost, beverage cost, waste, and operational expenses. Maintain high standards for cleanliness, safety, and facility appearance. Handle guest concerns and service recovery. Lead from the floor and jump into any department when needed. Birthday Parties & Events Events are a major part of our business, and the AGM plays an important role in making them successful. Oversee birthday parties, corporate events, team-building events, holiday parties, private events, and venue buyouts. Review BEOs and event details before each event. Coordinate event setup, timelines, food and beverage service, activities, and breakdown. Communicate directly with birthday hosts and event clients. Ensure birthday parties are organized, energetic, and memorable. Coordinate bowling, arcade, axe throwing, karaoke, simulators, and other activities. Train employees on birthday party and event service standards. Anticipate event needs and resolve issues quickly. Help create experiences that lead to repeat parties and corporate business. Catering The AGM will also support High 5 Exchange's on-site and off-site catering operations. Coordinate catering orders with the kitchen and event teams. Ensure orders are accurate, properly packaged, labeled, and ready on time. Understand dietary restrictions, allergies, and special food preparation requirements. Coordinate catering pickup and delivery timelines. Oversee buffet setup, presentation, replenishment, and breakdown. Ensure food service timing matches the client's event schedule. Maintain communication between clients, kitchen staff, event staff, and management. Help identify opportunities to grow catering and repeat event business. What We're Looking For 2+ years of management or leadership experience preferred. Restaurant, hospitality, entertainment, catering, or event experience strongly preferred. Birthday party, banquet, or private-event experience is a plus. Strong leadership and communication skills. Excellent organization and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple departments during high-volume periods. Strong guest-service and problem-solving skills. Experience training, coaching, and holding employees accountable. Basic understanding of labor, inventory, food cost, and beverage cost. Comfortable working directly with event clients and large groups. TABC and food safety certifications preferred or ability to obtain required certifications. Must have flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and major event dates.
