Event Coordinator El Ronco Servi-Car LLC San Juan, TX Job Details Part-time | Full-time $13 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Organizing community events Event scheduling TABC Certification Team management Attention to detail Promotional community events Event staffing Event setup Event customer service Event on-site coordination Food Handler Certification Social media communication Full Job Description About the Position El Ronco is looking for a reliable, organized, and outgoing Event Coordinator to assist with the planning, organization, and execution of our events and activations at venues including Bert Ogden Arena and Payne Arena, as well as other community and promotional events. This position will work closely with our Administrative/Marketing team to ensure events are organized, properly staffed, stocked, set up, and executed according to company standards. The ideal candidate is someone who can take initiative, pay attention to details, communicate professionally, and work independently once given direction. This person will eventually be trusted to oversee smaller events and represent El Ronco when management is not present. Key Responsibilities Event Planning & Preparation Assist with planning and coordinating El Ronco events, promotions, sponsorship activations, and community events. Prepare event checklists, schedules, supplies, signage, promotional materials, and other necessary items. Coordinate with managers and employees to ensure proper event staffing. Communicate with venue personnel and other event contacts regarding logistics and event requirements. Confirm that products, equipment, promotional materials, and supplies are ready prior to each event. Assist with transportation and delivery of event materials when needed. Event Day Operations Arrive early to assist with setup and ensure everything is ready before the event begins. Oversee El Ronco's booth, concession area, activation, or promotional space during assigned events. Ensure employees are following proper procedures, appearance standards, and customer-service expectations. Monitor inventory and supplies throughout the event. Assist with customer service and resolve minor operational issues. Communicate with venue staff, employees, vendors, and management throughout the event. Take photos and videos for documentation and social media when requested. Complete event checklists and report any issues, shortages, or concerns to management. Assist with breakdown and cleanup after events. Post-Event Responsibilities Report event sales, inventory usage, attendance observations, and other relevant information. Organize and return event equipment and supplies. Provide feedback regarding what worked well and what could be improved. Maintain organized records of event materials and supplies. Assist with preparing for upcoming events.
Pay:
$13.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per weekLicense/Certification:
