With a rich history of producing diverse outdoor festivals, concerts, and holiday programs, we strive to create memorable experiences that celebrate our waterfront's beauty and vitality. We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Special Event Manager
  • Box Office specialist to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of ticketing operations for our dynamic events.
This role offers the opportunity to oversee guest services, manage gate staff, and ensure seamless ticket sales and customer experiences. We are in search of a team-first person that can thrive in fast-paced environments, excel at communication, and have a passion for hospitality and event management! Lead the box office team during events, managing shift schedules and supervising staff to deliver exceptional guest service. Oversee ticket sales processes, including cash handling, point-of-sale transactions, and reporting accuracy. Manage guest services at the box office, addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring positive interactions. Supervise the setup and breakdown of box office entrances. Prepare detailed reports on ticket sales, attendance figures, and operational challenges to inform future planning. Collaborate with security and management teams to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff. Create and maintain all special events and promotions in Saffire Ticket system, including seating manifests, price tables, discounts & promotions, presales, etc. Assist in the creation and management for all ticketing activities including seating designs and pricing for Festivals, Events, Fundraising (Friends of Festevents), and Fundraising Campaigns (Town Point Park Campaign). Oversee the preparation of all financial reconciliation in regards to income and ticket reports, etc. Act as systems administrator for ticketing system and liaison between Saffire Ticketing and staff. Coordinate, schedule and work with on-site service clubs that work the events as fundraisers for their individual charities. Serve as an event manager working on-site at the events. Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO. Demonstrated success in special event management with a focus on customer service excellence. Supervising experience of part-time staff in guest services roles. Strong background in cash handling, report writing, and managing large crowds during events.
