Job Description

Eastside Christian School is a private Christian school dedicated to "Academic Excellence, Commitment to Christ." Located in the Eastgate area of Bellevue,, ECS serves 270 Preschool through 8th grade students. ECS is an independent Christian school and member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Eastside Christian School is seeking an part-time seasonal (August-April) organized, personable Auction & Special Events Coordinator to lead planning and execution of our annual fundraising auction, ECS's largest fundraising event of the year. This role combines event planning, relationship building, fundraising, communication, and volunteer coordination . The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, managing details, and bringing a complex event together from initial planning through post-event follow-up.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the auction planning timeline, logistics, vendors, venue, and day-of event operations Recruit sponsors and solicit auction donations and experiences Build strong relationships with families, donors, business partners, and community members Manage auction software, ticketing, guest registration, seating, procurement, and reporting Coordinate event communications, including email, website, social media, invitations, signage, and printed materials Recruit, organize, and support event volunteers Coordinate event program elements, including the auctioneer, emcee, keynote speaker, paddle raise, and other fundraising activities Coordinate post-event thank-you communications, fulfillment, reporting, and donor stewardship
Ideal Candidate:
Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented Warm, personable, and an excellent communicator Comfortable building relationships and requesting donations or sponsorships Able to manage multiple deadlines and remain calm under pressure Experienced in event planning, fundraising, project management, marketing, database management, hospitality, or a related field Passionate about creating meaningful experiences that inspire generosity
