Job Description

Events Coordinator (Contract) Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.
Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive professional to provide essential operational and logistical support to a dynamic team focused on driving employee engagement across the organization. In this role, you will serve as a critical partner in ensuring the seamless execution of programs, events, and initiatives that strengthen culture, collaboration, and organizational connection. You will manage day-to-day administrative operations, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and provide the organizational backbone that allows the team to focus on high-impact strategic initiatives. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced corporate environment. Job Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day administrative operations to ensure smooth execution of programs and events Coordinate scheduling, meetings, and communications across the team and with stakeholders Book and manage vendors, including negotiating logistics and tracking associated expenses Track budgets, invoices, and expenses for employee engagement activities, ensuring accurate reporting and reconciliation Maintain task lists, monitor project progress, and provide updates to leadership Pull and consolidate reports, status updates, and metrics to support team decision-making and leadership reviews Support preparation of materials for presentations, meetings, and events, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Serve as the point of contact for internal and external partners, ensuring seamless coordination and follow-up Provide hands-on support during event execution to ensure programs run smoothly from start to finish
Requirements:
Two or more years of administrative support experience in a corporate environment One to two years of experience booking vendors, coordinating events, and handling logistics for programs or meetings Demonstrated experience managing day-to-day operations, calendars, and logistics Practical experience creating reports, tracking tasks, and managing documentation Bachelor's degree in business, Operations, Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience Strong organizational and time management abilities with capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and OneNote Experience with collaboration tools such as SharePoint Excellent verbal and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams Vendor management and negotiation capabilities Budget tracking and financial reconciliation skills Comfortable with a hands-on, flexible approach to supporting events and programs
