Overview Join us as an Event Check-In Ambassador in Seattle - for this 4pm - 8pm event. Your energy and enthusiasm will set the tone for unforgettable experiences! In this lively role, you'll be the friendly face welcoming guests, managing event entry point, and ensuring a smooth check-in process. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help create a vibrant atmosphere, making every attendee feel valued and excited for what's to come. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing excellent customer service and clear directions. Verify ticket or registration information efficiently using POS systems or manual methods. Manage guest flow at entry points, ensuring safety protocols are followed and capacity limits are maintained. Handle cash transactions accurately when processing entry fees or merchandise sales. Assist with crowd control and conflict management to maintain a safe, welcoming environment. Support event staff with setup, breakdown, and logistical tasks as needed. Respond promptly to guest inquiries, providing information about event schedules and venue amenities. Requirements Previous experience in events management or hospitality is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally. Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy items throughout outdoor or indoor venues for extended periods. Knowledge of safety protocols, including CPR and first aid certification preferred. Experience working with children or in outdoor work environments is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, manual handling, and basic math skills. Excellent communication skills suitable for public speaking and guest interactions.
Pay:
