Activity and Event Coordinator We're seeking a positive and energetic Activity and Event Coordinator to help bring our life enrichment program to life. Key Responsibilities Resident Engagement & Program Development Create and coordinate meaningful activities, events, and social opportunities that encourage resident participation, connection, and overall well-being, while adapting programs to individual interests, abilities, and preferences. Event Planning & Community Engagement Organize and coordinate community-wide special events, including themed parties, seasonal celebrations, family nights, and holiday programs. Plan and lead employee engagement activities, including team-building events, appreciation days, and recognition programs. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in recreation therapy, gerontology, or related fields preferred. Minimum 1-2 years of experience planning, coordinating, or leading group activities, preferably in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality. Knowledge of state regulations impacting resident engagement and activities. Ability to plan, organize, and execute events for diverse audiences. Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in social media posting and newsletter creation. Maintain current driver's license. Experience managing budgets and vendors.
