Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Program & Special Events Coordinator who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families. This role is vital in maintaining a positive culture, planning, executing, and managing a variety of events within a fast-paced, positive family environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality and sales, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to lead teams effectively. This position involves relationship building, sales, customer service, event coordination, client communication, marketing initiatives, and team leadership to ensure successful events and exceptional guest experiences. Evening and weekend availability are required as needed to support event schedules. Responsibilities Manage the planning and execution of a wide range of programs including martial arts, after school, summer camp, and special events. Respond quickly and professionally to new leads and inquiries. Explain programs and membership options. Conduct facility tours and introductory conversations. Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote events and increase engagement in community. Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and vendors to facilitate smooth operations. Work evenings and weekends as needed to support event schedules. Demonstrated leadership abilities in supervising teams or coordinating events. Experience in marketing or promotional activities related to events is preferred. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and positivity.
Compensation:
Paid training (8-12 weeks) Pay increase upon training completion Eligible for ongoing leadership development

$21.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 30.0 per week
