Job Description

PRN/As Needed Job Summary Performs standard and advanced technical support to all rehab and fitness programs in multiple patient and customer settings: Transitional Care Unit, Inpatient, Outpatient and Fitness Center. Appointment scheduling and front office support, facility and equipment management, cleaning, sanitizing, QA checklist completion. Provides skilled and non skilled patient care assistance with direct oversight of licensed therapist in multiple patient care settings (PT/OT/ST/Cardiac Rehab/Sports Medicine). Open and close Fitness Center and oversee member safety, security, and equipment utilization during shift. Minimum Qualifications Education High School graduate or equivalent. Prefer Certified Nursing Assistant education/training Experience None required. Prefer previous work or volunteer experience with customer interactions and/or 1 year practical experience in hospital, healthcare setting providing direct patient care or interaction with patients. Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations Current BLS or BLS within 90 days of hire required. BWR and/or ARC Lifeguard within 180 days of hire. Equipment, Tools, Work Aids EMR system, Windows/Microsoft applications, General Office equipment, Multi-line phone system, credit/debit reader, basic hand tools, patient therapeutic equipment/machines, PPE Specialized Knowledge and Skills Entry level knowledge of medical insurance regulations, billing, coding and collections. Entry-level knowledge of medical terminology , anatomical structures & therapy procedures. Ability to interact in a positive and encouraging manner with patients & gym members. Basic knowledge of common health disease and orthopedic conditions/injuries. Must be a proficient swimmer. Must have a healthy and well groomed appearance Benefits No Approximate Work Schedule PRN/As needed with no set schedule (vary according to the department needs)
