Duties Prepare high-quality food items according to established recipes and safety standards, including sandwich assembly and side dish preparation Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction Handle cash register operations, process cash and card transactions, and give correct change with precision Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation, food safety, and cleanliness protocols throughout your shift Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and supporting kitchen operations to ensure a smooth flow of service Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities while providing friendly customer service Skills Proven experience in food preparation, food handling, or quick service & fast food restaurant environments Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing and cashiering Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks swiftly during busy hours Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and address their needs promptly Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations Knowledge of food safety management practices to ensure compliance with health standards Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting Join us as a Firehouse Subs Crew Member if you're passionate about delivering great food with enthusiasm!
