Job Description

Pullet Crew The Pullet Crew team member is responsible for catching and vaccinating chickens.

Essentials Functions and Responsibilities:

Catch and pick up live chickens and load them into steel cages. Catch and pick up live chickens and present them to the vaccinator to be vaccinated. Comply with written company policies. Maintain the highest possible level of personal hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with company GMP and biosecurity policies. Identify and report any suspicious or abnormal situations to their immediate supervisor or live management official. Administer vaccinations in appropriate locations in accordance with Peco policy.

Physical Demands:

Standing / walking 100% of the workday. Lifting live birds that weight between 4.0-7.0 pounds on average. Dusty/warm work environment inside the chicken houses. Performing repetitive motion. Being able to work in a mostly outdoor environment.
