Job Description
The Cage Shop Repairman is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and rebuilding poultry cages and related equipment to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient farm operations. Key Responsibilities Inspect cages for damage, wear or safety hazards. Replace/repair any damage found. Ensure cages are safe, functional and compliant with Animal Welfare standards. Adhere to safety requirements and policies, including proper use of PPE Minimum Qualifications Must be self-motivated and work well alone Must be able to weld, use cutting torch/plasma cutter and hand tools. Must be able to use a tape measure and square. Able to run a fork lift and climb a ladder. Physical stamina to lift, bend, and work outdoors in varying conditions.
