Job Summary Pizza Heaven Bistro is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Restaurant Service Associate to support daily front-of-house operations and provide a positive dining experience. Key Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit. Take customer orders accurately and communicate them clearly to the kitchen team. Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and available options. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining professional service standards. Assist customers with special requests and resolve routine service concerns. Maintain clean, organized, and well-presented dining and service areas. Process customer transactions accurately using the restaurant's point-of-sale system. Restock dining supplies, service items, and other front-of-house materials. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared and delivered efficiently. Monitor tables and service areas and respond promptly to customer needs. Follow food safety, sanitation, and restaurant cleanliness procedures. Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and daily restaurant operations. Support other team members during busy service periods. Maintain a professional, positive, and welcoming attitude with customers and coworkers. Qualifications Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred. Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to provide friendly and professional customer service. Good attention to detail when handling orders and transactions. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork and time-management skills. Basic ability to operate a POS system and handle routine transactions. Reliable, punctual, and dependable work habits. Ability to stand and move for extended periods during shifts. Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.
