Job Summary As a Bobarista at Sunright Tea Studio, your care for tea and compassion for others will create memorable experiences for everyone that walks through our doors- team members and customers alike. In this role, you will be the friendly face behind the counter, expertly preparing and serving a variety of tea, fruit, milk-based, and blended drinks. Your energy and customer-focused attitude will help foster a welcoming environment while ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards. This paid position offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in food and beverage service, with or without previous work experience. Responsibilities Prepare and serve high-quality beverages that incorporate teas, fresh fruit, yakult, fresh milk, and specialty drinks following company recipes and standards Operate POS systems including Toast and Third Party Delivery platforms (UBEREats and Doordash) for processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space by following proper cleaning procedures to ensure food safety standards and company standards are met Engage with customers in a friendly manner, answer questions about menu items, and provide excellent customer service to enhance their experience Assist with food handling tasks such as kitchen ingredient prep, induction cooker preparations, beverage assembly, and ensuring proper food safety practices are followed Support team members during busy hours by managing shift expectations effectively and with a sense of purpose Skills Candidates should have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, both with or without previous work experience Must prioritize communication and honesty to ensure successful working relationships Willing to develop customer service skills; has the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse customers Will complete Food Handling Courses if proper Food Service Certifications are not already obtained Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for drink preparation Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours while maintaining quality standards Commitment to food safety protocols, cleanliness, and proper food preparation procedures Join us in creating sunny experiences here in Arcadia!
