Job Description
Job Summary Join our locally owned Papa John's team! As a Pizza Maker / Team Member , you'll prepare our signature pizzas to Papa John's quality standards, deliver friendly customer service, and help maintain a clean, safe, and organized restaurant. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, this is a great opportunity to learn, grow, and advance into Shift Leader or management roles. What You'll Do Prepare, stretch, top, and bake pizzas to Papa John's quality standards Operate the make line, oven, and cut table efficiently Take phone, online, and walk-in orders using the POS system Deliver outstanding customer service with speed, accuracy, and a positive attitude Prepare ingredients and organize the make line, walk-in cooler, and storage areas Restock supplies, rotate inventory (FIFO), and receive deliveries Keep the restaurant clean, organized, and health-inspection ready Wash dishes and clean equipment, workstations, dining areas, and restrooms Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures Assist with opening, rush, and closing duties Learn new menu items, promotions, and company procedures Work as part of a team to deliver a great customer experience Help resolve customer concerns professionally Perform other duties as assigned to support restaurant operations What We're Looking For Previous pizza or quick-service restaurant experience preferred (Papa John's, Domino's, Pizza Hut, Little Caesars, etc.) Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented Basic math and cash-handling skills Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred, but not required Must be at least 18 years old California Food Handler Card required within 30 days (we'll help you obtain it) Why Join Papa John's?
