Responsibilities Prepare a variety of sandwiches and food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Operate POS system Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience. Handle cash transactions, including cash handling and basic math calculations, ensuring accuracy at all times. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and food preparation zones in compliance with sanitation guidelines. Assist with food handling duties such as bussing tables, restocking supplies, and supporting kitchen operations when needed. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety standards. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cashiering, or retail math within quick service or fast food restaurants. Familiarity with POS systems Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently. Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory management. Previous restaurant or café experience is highly valued; experience in the food industry enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
