Shift 1: 8:00 AM•1:00 PM Shift 2: 11:00 AM•4:00 PM (Part-time | Flexible shifts available Monday-Sunday) Are you someone who takes pride in your city, loves being outdoors, and doesn't mind rolling up your sleeves to make a difference? Come be a local legend with our Courtesy Crew — where every day is an opportunity to keep Downtown Oceanside looking its best while being a friendly face to the community! About the Role As a Courtesy Crew Member , you're more than just a maintenance pro — you're an Oceanside ambassador! You'll help keep our streets and public spaces clean, safe, and welcoming by tackling trash pickup, graffiti removal, and weed abatement. All while delivering amazing customer service to locals, business owners, and visitors who make our city shine.
What You'll Do:
Be a cleanup champion — remove trash, debris, and bulky items from public areas Show those weeds who's boss — maintain vegetation with tools and eco-friendly sprays Wipe the slate clean — remove graffiti using paint, solvents, and good ol' elbow grease Keep records up to date — complete logs and reports with accuracy Act as the eyes and ears of Downtown — report any issues to management Use cool tools — from trimmers to sprayers to walkie-talkies, you'll handle it all Drive our vehicles (pickup trucks, flatbeds, box trucks) to get the job done
What You Bring:
A positive attitude and a love for teamwork Comfort working outdoors in all types of weather Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stay active throughout the shift Great communication skills and a can-do spirit Basic tech/computer skills for reporting and communication A valid Class-C California Driver's License High school diploma or equivalent
