In this role, you will ensure a seamless guest experience by mastering all Front of House stations—from order taking to food preparation and expediting. Responsibilities Guest Service & Order Management:
Deliver excellent customer service with a friendly and approachable attitude. You will greet guests warmly, guide them through the menu, answer questions clearly, and process transactions accurately using the Toast POS system. Additionally, you will handle guest inquiries or minor complaints with a positive attitude, escalating to management when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction. Expediting (Expo) &
Flow:
Manage the Expo station during rush hours by verifying ticket accuracy and food presentation. You will act as the expeditor to organize orders for hand-off or delivery and communicate effectively with the kitchen to manage wait times, ensuring timely service without bottlenecks.
Floor Operations & Catering:
Rotate efficiently between roles, including running food and beverages to tables and coordinating smoothly with the kitchen team. You will maintain the dining area by bussing and sanitizing tables, restocking service stations, and supporting catering orders as needed by packing, organizing, and ensuring accuracy.
Prep, Inventory & Quality Control:
Assist with food and beverage preparation, such as portioning sauces and preparing salads, ensuring all stations are fully supplied. You will monitor the inventory of beverages, supplies, and packaging, assist with restocking and deliveries, and maintain a clean, organized work area. This includes monitoring the freshness of ingredients and prepped items by strictly adhering to First-In, First-Out (FIFO) standards.
Teamwork & Growth:
Provide support to fellow team members to ensure smooth service. You are expected to work with a team-first mindset by supporting others, receiving feedback with openness, and approaching learning as part of daily growth.
Qualifications Experience:
Entry-level candidates are welcome and no prior experience is required as we provide training for the right candidate, though 6+ months of customer service or food service experience is preferred.
Communication:
Conversational English skills are required, with the ability to take orders, answer guest questions, and communicate effectively with team members. Candidates must possess clear communication skills, strong verbal communication, and a collaborative spirit.

Certifications:
California Food Handler's Card is required, or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire (training and exam provided by the company upon hire). Compensation:
$19.00-$21.00 per hour plus pooled tips.
