This role includes a combination of event shifts at the Rady Shell and production/prep shifts at our popcorn facility. We are looking for team members who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, can work independently, problem solve and are willing to help wherever needed to ensure successful events. Key Responsibilities Provide friendly and efficient customer service at events Operate cashier stations accurately in a cashless environment Prepare and serve popcorn, pretzels and beverages Assist with baking and packaging large batches of pretzels during prep shifts Stock, organize and maintain event inventory Follow food safety and sanitation standards Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth event operations Assist with event setup, breakdown and general event support Schedule & Availability This position includes a combination of: Prep Shifts - Starting the shift at 2pm at our popcorn factory, baking large batches of pretzels then working the Event until intermission (typically 8pm) Event Shifts - Typically Thursday-Sunday from approximately 4:00 PM-10:00 PM at the Rady Shell A balance of both prep and event shifts is expected. Weekend, evening and holiday availability is required during the concert season. Applicants should expect to work a minimum of 2-3 shifts per week during the season. We are looking for team members interested in regular seasonal work, not occasional one-off event shifts. Qualifications Customer service, food service or cashier experience preferred Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds Willingness to work both prep and event shifts Compensation & Perks $17.75/hour + tips Parking reimbursement for all scheduled event shifts Flexible seasonal scheduling (Season ends at the end of December) Fun and energetic work environment Opportunity to work concerts and special events at San Diego's premier outdoor music venue
