Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with their food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast Operate cash registers accurately, processing cash transactions, credit card payments, and retail sales transactions efficiently. Prepare simple food items as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and sanitation protocols. Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including food prep areas, dining spaces, and equipment operation zones. Handle customer inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience for every guest. Manage food service customer order processing with speed and accuracy while adhering to food safety management practices. Qualifications Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential! Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is a plus Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and managing register operations. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively when needed.
