In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, assist guests with ordering and dining, and help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment. Starting as lower position like Busser, Host or Food Runner, you will be able to learn all the fundamental trainings before moving up to be server. Your positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail will help create memorable dining experiences while supporting smooth daily operations. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in hospitality, food service, and sales within a fast-paced, team-oriented restaurant setting. Duties & Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service Take accurate orders and assist customers with menu selections Operate POS systems for order entry, payments, and cash handling Support food and beverage service, including assisting with preparation and presentation Recommend and upsell menu items, specials, and beverages to enhance guest experience and sales Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing work areas, and following food safety standards Handle cashiering duties, including processing transactions and balancing registers Monitor and restock supplies to support daily operations Follow all alcohol service, food handling, and sanitation regulations Work closely with kitchen and management teams to ensure timely, quality service Qualifications Previous restaurant, food service, or retail experience preferred (not required) Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (or willingness to be trained) Experience with POS systems is a plus Strong multitasking and time management skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Must be dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Why Join Blue House Korean BBQ?
