Job Summary Join our dedicated team as a NOC (Night Shift) Direct Care professional, where your compassionate support and attentive care make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents. Responsibilities This position is primarily for the 10:00pm-6:00am shift. However there may be opportunities to cover additional morning or afternoon shifts. Monitor residents throughout the night to ensure safety and well-being, responding promptly to their needs or emergencies Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Conduct regular checks on residents' vital signs and health status, documenting observations accurately Administer medication following prescribed protocols and maintain detailed medication records Support residents with meal preparation and feeding as needed, promoting proper nutrition and hydration Practice safe patient lifting techniques and manual handling to prevent injury for residents and staff Engage in behavior management strategies tailored to individuals with cognitive disabilities to promote comfort and reduce agitation Qualifications Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly preferred Familiarity with medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and basic first aid/CPR certification Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with confidence Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Commitment to respecting residents' rights and providing person-centered care in a compassionate manner Complete prehire documentation to include: Fingerprint clearance, TB test, Health Physical and drug testing High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent Must participate with in-service training 36 hours per year Must participate with all safety practices, and fire and disaster drills Join us as a NOC (Night Shift) Direct Care professional to deliver exceptional overnight support that empowers residents to live safely and comfortably.
