Job Description
Your Best Friends Boarding Kennel and Grooming House is in search of a Kennel Tech to help with our daily duties. We are looking for a kennel tech for all shifts. We want individuals who love to care for pets, are detail oriented, and reliable- our pets lives depend on it! The position will be 4-5 days per week, with 3-8 hour shifts each day. Early mornings, weekends and Holidays are all work days. This is a 365 day per year facility. We all work together to ensure our clients pets are in the best care possible. You will be trained in animal handling skills as well as customer support and service skills. Morning shift will start ~ 6:00 AM and ends between 11:00 AM and 1:00PM. Afternoon shifts begin at 2:00PM and end between 7:00 to 9:00 PM. This is a physical job where we walk around 4 miles per shift, with occasional lifting of up to 150 lbs with assistance. Daily and ongoing cleaning is expected to ensure the best possible experience for our furry guests. Closed toed shoes are a requirement.
