FULL TIME EXPERIENCED PREPARED FOODS CLERK NEEDED

Joseph Family Markets a local family-owned company that operates as the ShopRite of Canton . We are driven by our company philosophy and our purpose: to care deeply about people, helping them to eat well and be happy. And, we are in search of the newest member of our Prepared Foods (Hot Foods) team that fits our company culture! The position consists of working hands-on preparing food for our customers: rotisserie chicken, side dishes, soups, sandwiches, and much more. We are currently interviewing to fill a full-time position (40-48 hours a week, experience required). Similar food handling experience required.

The position requirements:

• At least 18 years of age
• Must be available anytime between 5am-midnight, as needed
• Must be available weekends
• Must be able to stand, bend, twist, reach, squat, push, and pull
• Must be able to regularly lift & carry 30+ lb boxes of product and lift skewed rotisserie poles
• Must be able to work within store coolers, freezers, in and out of cold temperatures
• Must be able to work with and around ovens and heating equipment
• Must be able to handle all products and cleaning agents in the department
• Must be able to read English and have basic math skills
• Must be able to work well independently
• Outstanding customer service is a definite
• Must be able to follow all quality assurance/food safety practices and procedures
