Job Overview The Senior Retail Sales Associate is a key customer service role at Atlantic Seafood. This individual provides excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions and fulfilling orders. This individual is knowledgeable regarding all store products including seafood and dry goods. In addition to providing excellent customer service, this individual is involved in ensuring a clean and organized retail market and assisting with light kitchen tasks. Old Saybrook, CT Full Time / Part Time Job Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering customer questions, making product / preparation suggestions and taking / fulfilling customer orders Perform duties efficiently and accurately to ensure positive customer experience. Properly record sales transactions in the POS system, and accurately process customer payments Package customer orders, ensuring neatness, completeness, and accuracy Ensure customer pre-orders are recorded in the computer system Ensure all displays within retail area are neat, clean, and restocked Complete daily or assigned cleaning tasks as requested Complete assigned store opening or closing tasks Follow all food safety procedures Assist with light kitchen tasks as assigned All other duties as required • Requirements Enthusiastic about helping customers and working in a fast-paced environment Have an interest in good food, cooking, recipes and ingredients Be willing to learn about seafood and the products we make and enjoy communicating about them to our customers 2+ Years Experience in a food service or retail environment Must be detail oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy Ability to multi-task Ability to lift 20-40lbs and stand for several hours during shifts Ability to work a flexible schedule Reliable and punctual Knowledge of food safety standards a plus Familiarity with POS systems a plus

Pay:

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
