In this role, you will be responsible for preparing food items, managing customer orders with POS systems, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring every guest has a positive dining experience. Your energy and enthusiasm will help create a welcoming atmosphere where customers feel valued and satisfied. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, sales, and customer engagement while working in a lively team environment. Duties Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Manage food service customer orders from taking to delivery, ensuring timely fulfillment. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities. Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including kitchen equipment, dining area, and food prep stations, adhering to sanitation standards. Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and manage retail sales transactions with accuracy. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while following food safety management practices. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly. Assist with food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards. Support team members during peak hours by managing multiple tasks such as serving, cashiering, and food prep seamlessly. Requirements Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential. Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining food safety standards. Strong time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities during busy periods. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and positive approach. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining a clean workspace. Food handling certification or willingness to obtain one upon hire is preferred; knowledge of sanitation practices is beneficial. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
