Duties Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately according to established standards, ensuring quality and safety. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process customer orders efficiently and accurately. Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, cashiering, and providing correct change. Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders clearly, and upselling menu items to enhance sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols. Assist with food handling duties such as stocking supplies, food prep, and ensuring proper food storage practices. Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks like food prep, serving customers, and maintaining a clean environment. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or quick service restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Knowledge of food preparation techniques and familiarity with POS systems like Aloha or Micros is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle fast-paced shifts efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Ability to perform basic math calculations for sales transactions and inventory management accurately. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that makes guests feel welcome. Understanding of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Experience working in retail or grocery environments can be beneficial for understanding product presentation and customer interactions.
