Part-time, approximately 3-4 days per week Overview Fatboy Sandwiches is looking for a dependable, experienced Cook / Counter Team Member to join our growing team. This is a part-time position starting at $20/hour plus tips, with room to grow as the brand expands. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands that great food and great hospitality go together. You'll be responsible for preparing food to brand standards, taking guest orders, operating the POS, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and communicating directly with ownership regarding low-stock or out-of-stock items. Some shifts may be worked independently for most or all of the day, so reliability, good judgment, and personal accountability are extremely important. When you're behind the counter, you are representing the Fatboy brand — and for us, hospitality comes first. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items consistently according to Fatboy standards Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive customer service Take orders and accurately operate the POS system Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen and service area Monitor food, packaging, and operating supplies Communicate low-stock and out-of-stock items to ownership promptly Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures Complete opening, operating, and closing responsibilities Work independently and confidently when scheduled alone Protect the quality, service, and overall integrity of the Fatboy Sandwiches brand What We're Looking For Previous cooking or restaurant experience a must Strong customer service skills POS/cash-handling experience preferred Extremely reliable and punctual Comfortable working independently Strong communication skills Organized and able to stay productive without constant supervision Ability to multitask between cooking, guests, orders, and cleaning Positive, hospitality-first attitude Join us if you're passionate about culinary excellence and eager to contribute to a lively food hall environment!
