Duties Prepare a variety of salads, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards Operate kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, blenders, and refrigeration units safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations Assist with menu planning by suggesting fresh ingredients and innovative salad combinations Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and prevent cross-contamination Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitized kitchen environment at all times Experience Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued Food service or restaurant experience demonstrating familiarity with food preparation and safety standards Culinary experience including knife skills, slicing techniques, and meal assembly preferred Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production environments Experience operating kitchen equipment such as slicers, blenders, refrigerators, and dishwashers Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff and team members Background in catering or food industry roles that emphasize recipe adherence and quality control Join us in creating fresh, healthy salads that make every meal memorable!
