Responsibilities Operate the cash register accurately, handling retail sales transactions with proficiency in POS systems and cash handling procedures. Provide friendly and professional customer service, including greeting shoppers, answering questions, and offering product recommendations. Conduct product demos in the deli area to showcase fresh items and promote sales through upselling techniques. Stock shelves efficiently by replenishing products, organizing displays, and ensuring merchandise is attractive and accessible. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli section and stockroom to meet health and safety standards. Assist with merchandising efforts by setting up promotional displays and ensuring store product knowledge is current for customer inquiries. Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about store hours, products, or services while practicing proper phone etiquette. Support in supervising team members when needed, guiding new staff on cashiering procedures, stocking routines, or customer service expectations. Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock management to ensure accurate inventory levels. Engage customers with friendly communication skills, fostering loyalty through excellent service and product knowledge. Deli Preparing making Subs ,Biscuits and pizza based on your shift. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred, especially with cashiering or stocking duties.
