This is a great position for someone who is currently in cosmetology school, esthetics school, massage school, or another beauty/spa program and wants to get real hands-on experience in a head spa environment. The majority of the job is washing and shampooing hair, scalp treatments, scalp and head massage, and blow drying clients' hair. You'll also help with keeping the space clean, preparing rooms, and other general tasks throughout the day. No previous professional experience is required. We will train you. We're mainly looking for someone who already has some background in the beauty, hair, esthetics, massage, or spa industry and wants to learn more. Scalp Lab is a chill, comfortable, mostly women centered environment. It's a relaxed setting where you'll work closely with clients and the rest of the team, rather than a typical fast-paced salon environment. Requirements Currently attending or have attended cosmetology, esthetics, massage therapy, or another related beauty/spa program Some education, training, or experience in the beauty, hair, spa, or wellness field No professional head spa experience required Willing to learn our techniques and receive training Comfortable working with clients Dependable and able to show up consistently Comfortable working in a team environment Pay $15-$25 per hour, depending on experience
