Job Summary Hard Rock Cafe is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused American Food Service Associate to support daily restaurant and food service operations. This role assists with food preparation, order handling, food and beverage service, guest assistance, cleanliness, restocking, and maintaining an efficient and welcoming dining environment. Responsibilities Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service. Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate special requests. Assist with preparing and serving American-style menu items, appetizers, entrées, sides, desserts, and beverages. Support food preparation, portioning, plating, packaging, and order assembly as needed. Ensure food and beverage orders are accurate, complete, and properly presented. Deliver food and beverages promptly and courteously. Answer guest questions about menu items and assist with basic menu selections. Assist with point-of-sale transactions and customer payments as needed. Maintain clean and organized dining areas, counters, service stations, and food preparation areas. Clear and reset tables to help maintain a neat and welcoming restaurant environment. Restock food ingredients, beverages, utensils, napkins, containers, and other service supplies. Assist kitchen and front-of-house team members during busy service periods. Follow food handling, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures. Handle food, equipment, ingredients, and restaurant supplies carefully and responsibly. Communicate guest concerns, supply needs, and service issues to supervisors. Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties. Help maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and order accuracy. Support efficient teamwork and smooth restaurant operations throughout each shift. Maintain a professional and positive attitude when interacting with guests and coworkers. Perform other food service and restaurant support duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous restaurant, food service, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Good attention to detail and order accuracy. Willingness to learn food preparation and restaurant service procedures. Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow food safety practices. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Comfortable standing, walking, and performing hands-on food service tasks.
