Honeysuckle Gelato at Dresden in Brookhaven is looking for fun, friendly, smart, hard-working and fast people to join our team as Part Time Gelato Scoopers. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while serving our delicious gelato and ensuring a clean and inviting atmosphere. Duties Scoop and serve gelato to customers with attention to portion control and presentation. Maintain cleanliness in the serving area. Operate the POS system for efficient order processing. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and upselling products to enhance their experience. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation practices. Maintain a positive attitude while working as part of a team in a quick service environment. Ability to frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 50 pounds Skills Food preparation experience is preferred, along with knowledge of food handling and safety protocols. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods. Sales experience, particularly in upselling, is beneficial for maximizing customer satisfaction. Excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Previous experience in food service, quick service & fast food restaurants, or retail environments is advantageous. Ability to work well in a team-oriented setting while maintaining individual responsibilities.
